Pathfinder minus front fail.

Hi!

I'm pretty sure I've been in this situation before but can't seem to remember what if anything I was doing wrong. Can someone help me with the minus front action not working in the video below please? I have the back camo image grouped and the front logo as a compound path.

Groups don't go well with Pathfinders. Better make that group into a compound path as well.

If I make it a compound bath it all becomes a single color and I lose the camo effect.

Then you could use a n opacity mask instead of the subtract pathfinder.
