Paths have stuff on the line

I downloaded Illustrator cc 2018 and when I opened a file that was created at work from the same program illustrator cc 2018 the paths has stuff on the line here and there, but if you click on it you can see the path running through the stuff. Anyone experience this?

    You can also turn off GPU Performance completely. Click on the rocket ship in Illustrator's top menu bar to access it.

      I changed the GPU and it worked, thanks everyone  for the help.

        Maybe that computer isn't  working well with the GPU rendering preview

        try Veiw > Preview on CPU

        to see if that is the case
