paths not showing stroke accurately

I have paths that are behaving strangely.  If I select a path, and change the stroke from 1 to 10 for example, it thickens as expected.  If I change the stroke to 2, it shows a 2 stroke.  If I change to 1, it is a one stroke.  HOWEVER, if I change it to .75, .5, or .25, the thickness still shows as 1…  to clarify, I cant make these strokes less than 1 (even though they show as .25 or whatever) in the info...

    Hello @ipanema451

Thanks for reaching out. I tried to replicate this issue on my end but could not. Would you mind confirming the exact version of the OS/Illustrator installed, if this happens with all files, and a brief screen recording of your workflow and the problem, so we can check this with the team?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Please share a sample Illustrator file for inspection (.ai).

Probably some stroke attributes are applied at the Layer level or Group level and thus overwriting the attributes of the subordinated objects.
