Hello, until yesterday I was able to move the pattern. Now it stays fixed in the same position. I can't decide where to start it.

In Preferences > General is "Transform patterns" on or off?

The tilde key lets you move patterns only, with the pointer or the arrow keys.

The Transform panel menu can let you transform patterns only.

But did you already try to restart your machine or reset Peferences?

Yes, I rebooted, then I also reinstalled newer and older illustrator. It works fine on my coworkers mac.
