PDF problem

Question

Dear Adobe Support Community.My name is Tsuyoshi.  I am using Windows 7 (64 bits)  and Illustrator CS5.5 Illustrator.  I have problem with saving file as pdf from illustrator file.  When I click save as pdf, the whole screen gets frozen up and only option to return to normal was to click "Esc."  I need to create a reduce file size pdf file.  I had no problem with creating pdf file for long time.  But all of the sudden, this problem gets appeared.  Would you please help me to solve this issue.

Hi Monica, it was the issue related to the network of monitor.  After I connect laptop to the monitor again, save as pdf screen pops up again!  And save as pdf with smallest file size is worked as usual.  Thank you very much for your support! Tsuyoshi Mamada

Do you remember anything you changed since it last worked?issues might be:- corrupt fonts- missing a printer- general read/write issues on the harddsik- saving to networks- issues with linked files
