Question

Pen Tool aligning anchor points

I am currently using Illustrator CC from the online deal from Adobe.

Apparently there is some setting that disables aligning anchor points to each other including the art board and I can't seem the find it or know how to turn it off so I can align my anchor points accordingly.

I checked google as well and it suggests to use my direction buttons to move my lines pixel by pixel but it doesn't seem to function like that either it is using the  grid setting and my art board is too small for it to be convenient to work with.

Any help would be appreciated, my line and shape work isn't looking right.

Is this what you are looking for?

What i was expecting was the snapping feature where it will auto snap into alignment with objects and the artboard just by simply moving it. Instead of an automated feature that centers and distributes it.

Did you turn on View > Smart Guides?

That will snap a point to another point when moved.
