Pen Tool Enhancements Ai

Question

The Pen tool has always had negative connotations associated with it. Requires a lot of practice to become proficient using the tool. What would the level of effort be to use AI to help guide the user. Imagine trying to outline an object and AI can sense the task. Then guide the user to making the path with as few anchor points as possible. This would be evolutionary.
