performance problem

The Ilustrator program alows me to work only with simple, primitive files. If an artwork has effects, patterns, brushes ans so on I can`t work with it. Drag and drop of objects and some other functions in the attached file are very slow. The computer is quite powerful, the characteristics are in the screenshot. We also attach a video of how the problem manifests itself

Sorry about the trouble you are facing. I would like to know if the steps suggested above by @marliton worked for you? If not, I would request you to share a few more details like:

  • Could you please share the document with us? You can package the document and upload the packaged folder to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link here or via DM. We'll check it at our end.
  • Where are you saving the files & links (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System/ External HDD)?
  • When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, plugins, or web extensions installed recently.
  • Was version v25.x.x working fine without any issues?
  • Does updating to Illustrator v26.0.2 helps?

Hi,

thank you for attaching the screens with the features of your computer and a video demonstration of the problem. However, we need more information to help you. Which version of Adobe Illustrator are you using? Have you checked if there are any updates available for your computer? Have you tried to reset the software preferences?

Reset settings to default - did not help
AI version - 26.0.1 64 bit
