pixelated working file

Hi there, I'm using CC 2020, and I believe Illustrator just updated, and since then my working files are very pixelated. They export fine, but it's really annoying to have such a rough view to work in. I can't seem to find the setting making this happen. It seems to primarily be strokes that appear like this, see photo attached.
