Question

Pixelation on rounded edges

I have a new computer at work and illustrator seems to be a bit off (probably just a setting I am unaware of). When I use the shape or pen tools to create curves they are coming out pixelated at any size stroke. Straight lines and shapes with only straight edges seem to be completely fine. When hovered over, the blue outlines on the curved shapes do not have the same pixelation that the actual shape does. Is there a setting to fix this?

Did you get this problem solved? I have the same problem with a shape I made. The straight lines are fine but where there's a new angle added its pixelated. In the original file it seems to adjust to scale but exporting to png or jpeg the shape looks like crap.

Does View > Preview on CPU not solve it?

Yes, that doesn't help. You can see the example below where it is the bottom line that is pixelated.

    Also:

about which version on which system are we talking?

And is the graphic card mentioned in the list of supported graphic cards in the hardware specifications?

And then: is the driver of your card updated?

Another thing to try is go to your preferences and under "General", toggle on or off the "anti-alias artwork". Then make sure your are in the GPU Preview mode.

Under your View Menu, is "Pixel Preview" selected? If so, choose View, GPU Preview.

Did you already tried [Strg]+ (that means [Ctrl]+)

    (toggle GPU view)
