PLEASE HELP. CAN'T RUN ILLUSTRATOR WITHOUT SEVERE GLITCHING!!!

I've tried to contact customer service and they sent me here...

this is my 2nd attempt at getting help after my first post was deleted so i'm quickly becoming irate with adobe's lack of customer service (as this is not how your should treat customers who spend k's of dollars every few years on software).

I'm running

i'm running illustrator 2019 on Mojave 10.14.3

on a 2017 retina 5k 27" imac

with 4.2 GHz intel Core i7 with 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

my problem is as follows...

After about an hour of running illustrator all document tabs stop working and the software starts breaking down causing crazy glitches where tools become inoperable and shapes or points eventually start getting thrown across the page.

initially i went back a version but 2018 was crashing too frequently so i upgrades back after the toolbar update.

i'm loosing my mind... I have work to do and i need software that works.

I've tried uninstalling everything
