Correct answer CarlosCanto

i am very new in scripting. till now only working with actions but trying to learn. if separately one or two lines you can suggest like for calling appearance fill or for offset path, will be helpful.

hi mohannegi, as I mentioned, there's no scripting access to appearance fills or strokes. You'll have to find a different approach, perhaps using Graphic Styles?

I've never seen a script that does that particular workflow. You would need to write your own script.

...but if I understood correctly, there's no scripting access to appearance strokes other than the currently active stroke.

hi carlos, actually i have 2 fills with same color one fill will remain same and down fill have .2 mm offset path which should be overpirnt attribute or darken (anything will work). so that this .2 mm outside will merge with background while printing.

Unless Carlos or Theunis happens to see this here, you may try to ask in the scripting forum,
