Plugin or Alternative to make Bezier Handles Easier to Click/Select?

Hi everybody,

I've gone to Preferences > Selection and Anchor Display...8 px width tolerance is just not enough. I'm having to still click bezier handles 3-4 times everytime I want to click. 

Is there an alternative option or plugin available that can allow me to make the tolerance setting like...20px?
