Is there a plugin/script similar to Jongware's Circle Fill, where intead of circles, I can select a bunch of objects from the canvas and have those randomly fill inside the vector?

Fillinger script by Alexander Ladygin. It's script based on Cirle Fill by Jongware. https://github.com/alexander-ladygin/illustrator-scripts/#fillinger

Very useful. May I ask if you know of a similar one to fillinger that maintains the original size of the shapes that fillup the container shape?

I haven't seen a script such as what you're asking. Keeping object size constant makes the taks a lot harder.

You can also try Space Fill (part of ColliderScribe) from Astute Graphics:

I have used 3 scripts together (Circle Fill, Random Select,  & Find & Replace Graphic Transform to Fit). This is the exact site I downloaded the scripts from that also includes a visual on how to use them.
