PNG Export Doesnt recognize artwork

I am a Long time user and instructor. Working on a personal project. All of a sudden Illustrator decided to stop showing an image in the preview window for the PNG options. hen I hot export it creates a blank image. As you can see in the screenshot the layer is on. There are no other Artboards or active layers. TBH. Illustrator has been very buggy lately and more glitches are no longer surprising but I have never seen this. Probably just gonna ahev to restart the program but WTF? Seriously.
