.PNG Image with no background printing with darker background

I have 2 .PNG files that have no background, and when i upload them via the Place command, they upload properly ontop of the navy blue background. However, when i print them, the background behind the file icon turns significantly darker and no longer matches the navy blue background. The problem remains if i export the file to PDF.

How do i get the .PNG files to stay with no background?
