Printer won't follow AI print settings

Hi, 

I'm using AI Cloud, with macOS Monterrey 12.2.1 and an EPSON L6190 inkjet printer. 

Every time I print a file, the printer will follow some of the settings from AI's print dialog box but not all. I have not figured out what it follows and what it doesn't all I know is that it doesn't follow the number or pages and the print quality setting.

In order to print properly I have to first enter the settings on AI's print dialog box, then press setup and enter again the same (number of pages, quality) on the OS's dialog box. It is time consuming and I'm not making full use of AI's settings which are more extensive than what the OS provides. 

Any idea of what could be happening and how to fix the issue?
