Problem opening .aic file from the cloud

I am having a problem were i can't open a certain .aic file which i have been working on with no problems for a few days. it seems that it is only this one file that will not open from the adobe illustrator cloud. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. i have tried reverting file to old version and making a copy on the creative cloud website but it still will not open the file. No error message is appearing and illustartor is not crashing.

Do you confirm that there is an issue? You haven't responded to anyone for ages.

This is urgent and very annoying - I keep getting the prompt to decide if I want to store the document in the cloud and I always say no, i'll store it locally because your cloud solution DOES NOT WORK

Have the same issue with a file, wont open from Creative Cloud and its up to date. I was able to download it to my pc and it opens. Glad I didnt lose it.

I have two aic files both created today. I can open one but not the other. This needs an urgent fix

Thanks, Adobe still need to fix the app, that's a good workaround though!

Hi,

I have the same trouble after updating my software too macOS Monterey version 12.2. I have been working with the file for several days without any issues, but now the file will not open. No error message is appearing and illustartor is not crashing.

Problem persists in AI v 26.0.3. I have a hugely important file for work on there. I regret saving on cloud (only did it that one time.) Hopefully it gets resolved.

Got around it by downloading the file from Creative Cloud files, then opening the downloaded file from my pc.

This issue persists unfortunately. Today I cannot open any of my .aic files, even after restarting Illustrator several times. Any advice would be most appreciated. I don't have time today to consult tech support and go through a long process unfortunately.

Hi Srishti, A student from my school contacted me with the same issue. She is working on artwork for her International Baccalaureate class and needs to complete her assignments but can't open the aic file she was working on.
