problem reading text imported from pdf files

Good morning, when opening a PDF file with Adobe Illustrator the text does not appear correctly (I attach a screenshot) how can I solve it?
Appreciate any help!

The file was provided in PDF and imported into Illustrator to be graphically reset. The "Missing glyph protection" was active, but the result does not change.
I "solved" it by copying the text from the PDF into Illustrator, losing the original settings.

The file has not been exported from Illustrator, right?

Do you need the text editable?

You can try and turn on the "Missing glyph protection" in the preferences. If that does not help, then you are running out of options.

 

Edit the source file.
