Problem with Contentauthenticity and Illustrator
Hello everyone,
An image agency has rejected my vector graphics on the grounds that I used the AI tools there. The problem is: these vector graphics consist of vector elements that I created in 2016. In other words: I did not use AI tools on these files. However, the stock photo agency wrote me the following:
“Thank you for your reply.
Now I have tried Adobe Content Authenticity and uploaded the two files there. And as a result, it shows me that I seem to have used Adobe Firefly when creating the file. Yet not a single element in this file was created with Adobe Firefly. So I asked myself why this is the case and where the error lies. I found out the following and I think this is something that can have serious consequences for us users:
If you have a vector element generated in Adobe Illustrator via Adobe Firefly, for example, but then delete this element again, this is noted for Content Authenticity. This means that even if the file has not been changed by an AI tool, this file is then saved as AI-changed!
The really stupid thing is that this prompt capability is displayed very prominently in the Adobe Illustrator interface, so you can never really rule out the possibility of clicking on it by mistake. If you click on it by mistake and then delete this AI-generated element, it's already too late. This file has therefore been specially marked for Content Authenticity.
I think this needs to be corrected urgently by the Adobe developers. I am happy to answer any further questions the developers of Content Authenticity may have! There must be a way to completely disable AI tools in Adobe Illustrator.
