Problem with CutContour

Hi,

I've made a illustration, copied all layers in place, used Pathfinder to add all the copied layers to eachother. On that shape I'm using a CutContour (yes spotcolor) for cutting the illustration when printing. Now it cut's on all black lines I'm using as a stroke within the illustration, those blackstroke is standard blackcolor and is indeed a processcolor. Does anyone have a tip for me how to solve this?

Erwin

Hi Erwin
We don't use Roland cutters but we use CutContour all day, every day. Are you able to share the file so I can have a look as see if I can spot the issue.

So you don't know how to create a spot color? Use the swatches panel for that and create the new swatch.

That I do know. I've used the CutContour problaly 60 times in the last year, so that's not the issue. The problem is that my Roland starts cutting black colored strokes. Those black strokes aren't printed also. But they are processcolors with a normal name.

You might need to search for the issue with the Roland driver.
