Problem with Illustrator 2023 toolbar on Windows 10

There are problems with my Illustrator 2023 toolbar.  The flyouts from the tools don't happen when I click the lower right corner of the icon.  I'm on a Windows 10 machine.

Here is a screen recording with audio (bit loud ... sorry)

I found that with Illustrator CC 2023 if you just click on the triangle in the bottom corner of the tool the flyout with the alternate tools does not appear. However, if you click on the triangle and hold the cursor there for a second or two the flyout will appear.

Of course Bill. Thank you. Now that is definitely a senior moment warning
for me as I approach my 77th.

If it's a tool you use regularly that isn't always in the toolbar that comes with Illustrator you could do what I did - build your own new toolbar! I separated out nested tools like the Pen Tools and the Shape Tools so I could click just once to access my favourites.
