Hello @Eli27838328en1e,

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing technical issues, and we understand how frustrating that can be. Could you please share a sample file with us (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/share-your-files-in-6-simple-steps/td-p/12967531) so that we can investigate the issue further and provide you with the appropriate solution?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav

In certain situations Illustrator automatically switches to Outline view if, for some reason, it cannot process the preview. Obviously that's what happened in your case.

Sometimes it helps to quit and relaunch Illustrator or to restart the entire machine. But in other cases some more investigation about the actual objects in the file is required. Difficult to tell without taking a look at the file.

How much memory do you have in your computer?

Does closing the other files and restarting Illustrator help?

Save all your projects before rebooting the computer.

It looks like you have a couple projects open. ANd the one you are working on is quite large. Are they all huge?

And then Chrome is open. It eats away your RAM like nothing.
