Problem with saving or exporting Adobe Illustrator File

I am new to illustrator and this is my first time saving a file. Every time I press 'save as' or 'export as', my graphics/text stretch. How do I fix this problem?

You stretched a symbol. You can reset that by selecting the stretched object and choose Reset Transformation from the Symbol panel menu.

Does it need to be a symbol? If not, you can select Break Link to Symbol.

That's quite astonishing and the behaviour is certainly not normal.

 

Which version of Illustrator are you using?

 

Also, can you share this Illustrator file, so one may have a look?

I just bought illustrator yesterday. The version I have is 26.3.1. 

 

I've saved and attached the file, but now the graphics are stretched.
