Problemas com espaçamento entre palavras

Estou com um problema de espaçamento entre palavras: toda vez que digito uma frase, ao dar espaço para uma nova palavra, o Illustrator junta essas palavras, deixando tudo como um único bloco.

Assim, por exemplo, se eu escrevo "design gráfico", ele automaticamente corrige para "designgráfico". Alguém sabe me dizer se é um problema (bug) ou se tem alguma configuração de correção?

Would you mind sharing more details, like the version of the OS/Illustrator installed and a small screen recording of the problem, so I can better assist you?

Also, try running Illustrator under a different admin account (Windows / macOS) and share your observations.
