Probleme de couleurs affichage GPU / CPU - Color issue with GPU / CPU Mode

Bonjour,

Hello,

I have a problem with the display of colors since the last version of Illustrator.

(I have a Mac Studio with the M1 Max chip) When the display is on the GPU, the colors are less saturated and not faithful, compared to the display mode via the CPU.

This bothers me because I have more performance when displaying with the GPU... If anyone has a similar problem or the solution, thanks for your help.

Salut,

Je viens de faire la mise à jour de Mac OS Ventura 13.1 (Mac Studio, M1 Max) et le problème semble être réglé. Plus de différence entre les prévisualisation CPU/GPU dans Illustrator et Indesign.

Hi,

I just updated to the latest Mac OS Ventura 13.1 ((Mac Studio, M1 Max) and the problem seems to be fixed. There is no longer a difference between CPU/GPU previews in Illustrator and Indesign.

Avez vous toujours de votre côté ce soucis ? Merci d'avance.

Hello @Weekendgraphique,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to recalibrate your monitor(s) for sRGB (https://adobe.ly/3OSbWTF), restarting your computer, and then relaunching Illustrator to check if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Hello @Florian269995478f1a,

Sorry to hear about this experience. We have investigated this problem and found it to be reproducible on our end as well, on computers with Apple Silicon running macOS Ventura. Our product team has acknowledged it and is working to fix it in future updates.
Currently, the workarounds are to use CPU preview or run the app under Rosetta/Intel with GPU or CPU preview.

Also, kindly check this UserVoice and upvote it (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/45876907-macos-ventura-color-pale).

Thanks,

Anubhav

Are you runing Mac OS Ventura?

If so downgrading to Monterey resolves this issue until an update from Illustrator is available.
