Problems with eyedropper tool samples

Hi, 

Before I used to use the eyedropper normally, but now I can't use it anymore. Sometimes it works normally, I even thought it was a file problem but it started to happen with a much higher frequency. I select the example I want to use but it doesn't apply the features, the video makes it easier to understand

But will I have to do this every time on every file? Is there any way to set it to default?

 


It depends on the objects in your file. 

If you try to pick up a fill with a group selected, it appears to place the fill below the group contents. I don't know if it's always been this way or if this is a new error, since it does seem slightly odd.

Open the appearance panel and check if there is another fill applied, possibly at a group level.

    The fill you are applying at the group level is below the contents. Either drag it above the group contents, or remove the fill from the constituent objects.
