Problems with illustrator

I don't know about overall, but in my opinion, Illustrator has gotten worse:

  1. The Eyedropper tool constantly copies colors with errors, making changes, so I have to check it every time.
  2. The Type tool recently started setting the font I used before, even after I changed it—it still reverts to the previous one.

I'm not very satisfied with the product lately.

What version are you using? The font changing problem should be solved in the most recent version (or by unchecking Preferences > Type > Enable Missing Glyph Protection).

Where do you pick up the color, from an image, linked or embedded?

I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2025. I just unchecked this option, and everything seems fine at first glance. Thank you!

I wouldn’t complain about colors when working with raster images, but I have this issue while working with vector files. When I pick a color with the Eyedropper tool, the changes are not drastic, but there are slight variations (this was also present in the previous version).

Can you give examples of these slight variations picking a color from vector objects?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
