properties panel disappeared

In my illustrator, the properties panel on the right side disappeared. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't help. How can I get it to reappear please?

Window > Properties doesn't make it show up?

Yes. To correct my description, the properties panel itself is in fact existing, but nothing is displayed on it
