Illustrator has lossless compression that you enable while saving

You mentioned jpg so you may be thinking of bitmapped formats, which would be a good question for a Photoshop forum.  Photoshop format (.psd) has lossless compression, and you can get to that by doing an file >> export as in illustrator.

So lossless quality means no degradation, but you asked actually about good quality so many (.jpg, .pdf and more ) of them will do that as long as you do not slide the quality level to low.

    Grant,

PNG24 is lossless, and inherently better for crispness than JPEG therefore more obvious for vector artwork, and also allowing transparent image parts; sometimes, the file size is even smaller.

Talking about raster images in RGB.

    None.

What do you want to use the file for?
