Question about creating a puppet for Adobe Ch

Hi, I'm trying to create a puppet from an inanimate object. The top of the object would flash blue when it talked. It would not have a face or mouth. It would just flash one color whenever it would speak. I actually have drawn the image in Adobe Illustrator, but can someone tell me how to add a blue flash to it?

I imagine it would essentially be a puppet and I would import it into Ch to use with my other puppets. I'm sorry, but I am very very poor with Illustrator. I had my puppets created by a professional, but I feel like this object is so simple, there's some way I could probably do it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you will more probably get some help by attaching a screenshot.

yes, prettty much. It's a computer device that is shaped like a colume that lights up blue when you talk to it. It's like a robot without a body or a face that just lights up blue when a voice eminates from it.

You will have to draw that light and then also the light reflecting from the surface of your puppet.
