Hi, the quick command in Illustrator for text kerning doesnt work anymore. Anyone knows how to fix it?

Have a look at this UserVoice report, do you notice low values in your Preferences > Type?

Resetting Preferences fixed the keybord shortcuts problems for me.

Alt + Left/Right arrow key does work for me to modify kerning in Illustrator 29.7.1

Which version of Illustrator are you using? What OS?

Hi! I'm using Illustrator 29.7.1 and Sequoia 15.6.1. Tryed to reset all settings and it worked for a while but then the problem returned. I can't use quick command for kerning and also the units for type and measurements goes back to default. Very annoying and time-consuming.

Your Preferences gets wrong values for Type Settings if you enter something in the new Preferences Search field and hit enter. Try (until the next update) to enter the following values in Preferences > Type:

Size/Leading: 2 pt

Tracking: 20

Baseline Shift: 2 pt
