Question

R.I.P. smooth tool

In the latest release, the smooth tool no longer works. They done broke it. Even on the most accurate setting it completely destroys the shape. Please change it back

Please post bug reports to https://illustrator.uservoice.com

There is probably one already and this is also being investigated.
