radial gradient issue

Sorry total beginner.. trying to turn this gradient from left to right into a radial gradient from middle to edge but i only get one colour showing, apart from a tiny dot in the centre with the other colour... have tried moving the gradient levers all the way in both directions but no change. What am I missing? Thank you!
