Hello everyone, I bought my used iMac in a few months ago and I have to use Adobe Illustrator for school, but then i tried to open it, it said that i have to change it to read and write, but then when i tried to change it here was a text about something that i do not have permission to change that and i have to ask the user before me. What should i do?

thanks in advance:)

@Nati304177347m64 when it comes to electronics such as phones and computers, I never know what exactly that person has with permissions. I would be too paranoid if I added my credit card information not knowing if the other person is able to access that information if I didn't do a factory reset. This is a thought though, but, it will take a lot of time depending on the state of the iMac and if you have the original CDs (guessing it's an old iMac) - you may want to consider a clean installation of macOS and this allows you to be the sole adminstrator not the other person.
