recolor artwork issue

Hey guys, i need to recolor a portion of a vector art illustration i purchased from shutterstock. and the color in my swatches is not showing in the panel, any ideas? see below

Are you looking for a custom color palette? I know you can open a .ase file as a new swatch panel. Or you can set specific RGB or CMYK values to create the color you want, and even make a new swatch in that project.

i made that pink color you see on the right on the swatches, but it does not load. i think it is the file i purchase, i made a new document, pasted the vector art, made the color, went to the recolor panel, and the swatch shows now.
