Draw a circle. Open one of the artistic brush libraries, probably Chalk_Charcoal_Pencil. Apply whichever brush looks best to your circle.

    Just curious...

I see you figured ou the circle.  Looks great.

My qestion deals with the 'hei!web'.  Why is there a drastic font change?  Will this text appear below the logo?  Is this the font that you will use for the text?  Wouldn't be better to match the font of the single 'H'?

I like the font of the single 'H'.  It is bold and heavy.  So when you scale it the 'H' will be readable.  I am not so sure if the font of the 'hei!web' will be readable when scaled down.  Something to think about.

    Hi KShinabery.

Thanks for your input and feedback!

The reason for the font on the hei!web is because I just saw a suggestion on one of the logomakers I tried out and it looked great when put on to different locations as stationary, as log and on a billboard. Here is the orignal that I try to recreate. Would u suggest to go with the same font as in the H?

    mactosh,

It looks much like a (maybe even (related to) one of the default ones) Art Brush applied to a circle with start and end (and a certain gap there) at the right circle Anchor Point of the circle.

To work with the ends more or less meeting, you may cut the circle one or more places to the right.

Hi Doug. We had the first whiteness Monday morning, nothing there now or soon I believe.

Thanks to both of you. I think I fund a solution to get the desired effect.

Now just one more thing. I used the ellipse tool to create the shape wich gives me a white background inside the circle.

Hot to go about getting rid of the fill?

    Regards.

Look at the bottom of your toolbar. There should be icons representing the fill and stroke. Select your object. Select the fill in the toolbar. Click the 'none' icon just below it.

Hi Jacob, cold enough for gloves for the first time this week but no hope of white stuff just yet.
