Reducing AI file size

I have made a neon glow ring, lanterns and some glowing stars in Illustrator, have used gradients and blendings modes, and the file size is 85 MB which is not being accepted by Adobe Stock. On Adobe Stock there are so many files with similar neon glows, why is mine so heavy? How to reduce the size?  I have checked other similar posts in this forum too but those don't help.

Several measures:

- the artworks are usually very small. Let's better call that tiny

- you could make a lower resolution in document raster effects settings

- of course color mode RGB

- delete all unnecessary brushes, graphic styles etc.

I don't know how you are supposed to save the file. If you are allowed to save an AI file without PDF compatiblity, the file will be smaller too.

Can we see a screenshot of the settings you are using. Is this a bitmapped or vector file format?

If .ai file >> save as >> uncheck PDF compatible.
