At least earlier there was a second chance: you could cancel the current plan, in this case AI standalone and start a new trial on another relevant plan, in this case all apps.

The full CC subscritpion is more expensive, but if still possible, you can cancel the AI plan, then start the full CC trial and try out just AI, then cancel the full CC plan, then subscribe to the AI plan.

If in doubt/in any case, you can also subscribe for just one month, then cancel or continue, possibly with the cheaper annual plan as Test Screen Name said.

Sometimes this happens. Sometimes we can see why - for example, the computer clock changed, or someone ran a trial years before. Sometimes we have no idea. Anyway, there is no second chance; you now have to decide whether to pay. Bear in mind the cheapest subscriptions are 1 year commitment with penalty if you cancel.
