Remove Artboard Size Limit?

Not sure if anyone from Adobe looks at this page anymore, Remove canvas size limit – Adobe Illustrator Feedback but almost 400 people have voted and over 200 comments have been made about this issue. And they keep on coming.

Does anyone know why this is still not being addressed? Don't get me wrong, I have been using Adobe software for over 12 years and can't see myself using anything else, but it's frustrating that this has still not even been commented on by any representative from Adobe.

If you had used Adobe software twice as long, you might still remember a relief with what we have.

That may be true, but that other thread has over 280 comments with the same issue. And this was never a problem when I was in school, or even until I started working in the sign industry and started working at large scale. And the lack of response from Adobe is equally as frustrating. They are always asking how to improve their products so I am just letting them know.

You can't let them know any more than they already do, I'm afraid.

I know that they were looking at introducing a much larger area in 2017-2018 as staff members posted here asking for user workflows, but it was dropped for unknown reasons and hasn't been mentioned since.
