Removing background from an imported Adobe illustrator image

Hi! I've created a hand drawn title on adobe illustrator and exported it as a JPEG into photoshop to remove the background, but I cannot workout how to remove the white background to make it totally transparent behind the letters?

If the hand drawn title was created in Illustrator, the background should already be transparent.

JPEG does not support transparency.

Perhaps I'm not understanding what you are trying to achieve.

Эй! Экспорт в png и фон не экспортируются. или экспортируйте в psd, и фон будет отдельным слоем.
