Reopen the side menu bar

So apparently I pulled the side menu bar and accidentally press the X, which closed the menu bar and now I can't figured out how to reopen it to keep on doing my work. Hope you can help. Thanks.

    Try to reset the workspace:

    Window > Workspace >  Reset ....

    Yeah, Ton, I tried that last night and seemed not to get the desired result, which is why I went the way I did. Today the reset works just fine. Gremlins, I suppose.

      My guess is that you're talking about the Toolbar on the left side of the screen. Go to the Window menu > Toolbars and select Basic or Advanced. Read the Help files on how to manage and customize toolbars.

       

      You may also select other panels that you want to appear from the Window menu, if it is some other panel that has disappeared.
