Repeated systme crash in `Illustrator

I have a freshly installed ne AI license on a brand new IMAC and system crashes repeatedly and frequently. I suspect problem may be connected to LINKED files. any advice other than to sign out -in again?

Hi @haley_1190,

I realize how annoying it can be to face crashes while working. Could you please confirm the version of macOS/Illustrator you have, whether Illustrator crashes on startup or when using a specific file/feature, and if you have any window managers installed so I can assist you more effectively?

Moreover, please check for any available OS updates and install them. If your files are located on an external/network drive or a cloud-synced folder like Dropbox, try moving them to the internal hard drive and let me know your findings.
