Resize without losing line weights

Question

Hi! I traced over an existing logo that was in poor quality in illustrator using the pen tool. Now I am trying to make it where if  I scale or resize it, the quality and the line weights are the same thickness/scale as I have it when its small. Helpppp

when you hit the S key and return the scale dialog pops up and right there there's two check boxes for scaling line weights and effects and corners...

Same thickness, or same scale? There is an option in preferences that lets you chose whether or not to scale line weights.
