Retrieving raster effects on an item

Hi everybody,

I've just start to play with the Illustrator Scripting API ( throughout the COM interface ), and I was wondering if there was any way to retrieve the raster effects that have been applied to an item, such as Blur, drop shadow & so on.

I see that we can set them using GraphicStyles, but, as my ultimate goal is to create a new Illustrator exporter, I just want to read the attributes of various page items,

No answers.. ? I'm still blocked :'(

Perhaps it is just impossible ? Is there just a way to check if there is ANY effect applied on an item, so that I can rasterize it to preserve the effects ?
