Reverting Text

Hey folks!

For some reason, Illustrator is reverting font within a line of text. If I click back into a line of text, instead of using the font that I set it to, it reverts the new text into the font I originally set before typing. Is there a hotkey or setting I accidentally activated? Continually going back to change fonts is quite the nuicance!

I have attached a screenshot of what I mean. The original text was done in Gotham, I then changed it to Faraco Hand as it fit better for the theme. While going back to change capitalization, the box reverted back to Gotham, even though the font selection in the properties tab said Faraco Hand.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

It's a bug.

Does it still happen when you turn off "Missing glyph protection" in Preferences > Text?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
