REVIEW LINK UPDATE ONLY BY OWNER ???

Why can a review Link only be updated by the owner of the file?

I need my team to be able to work on the file and also update the review link see everybody can see the changes...

The Cloud File Collaboration is really useful, but if the review link cannot be updated by everybody who can EDIT this file THIS MAKE NO SENSE, right???

Or how do you do this?
Thanks in advance!

Hello @luccaj95464665,

Thanks for your patience. As of now Illustrator only supports this workflow. I'll definitely pass on your feedback to the product team. Would you mind also creating a UserVoice for this feature request (https://adobe.ly/4aRHhPN) and adding your comments there? Doing this will help us prioritize this request, and you will be notified of any updates. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,
Anubhav

Hello @luccaj95464665,

Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind elaborating on your workflow and your trouble using Cloud Documents?
Also, try the suggestions shared in this help article (https://adobe.ly/47jdAUJ) and share your observations.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

As described above:
We liked the way we were able to work with .aic files and the review Link option.
The only problem for us was, that we realized, that the review link can only be updated by the owner of the file.
So if one of my team members is working on the .aic file and wants to show current progress he/she would have to update the review link. This is unfortunately not possible. This team member will have to call me and ask me (owner of the file) to update the review link... This is very sad since we really liked working with the .aic file. Unfortunately might have to move to Google Drive now 😞
