rollback from Illustrator 26.1

since updating to 26.1 I have nothing but problems with the pointer not lining up with the mouse, tools not working correctly, seelction/toggle sometimes being inverted to main a few.

is there a way to revert back to the previously installed revision? I fear it may have been a later version of 25, and not 26.0 I had judging by some of the comments I'm seeing on here.

Or is there any sign of a resolution coming soon?

It could also be a problem with your system, which OS are you using?

I doubt that given the previous version of Illustrator was working just fine.

But to go down that path, I'm using Windows 11. I can check the build number later and provide that.

from looking around these forums though, seems to be an issue on Mac aswell...

I seen that, but was hoping for a better option that a full uninstall and hoping to find a working version of the software...

But my concern is that it never gets resolved and adobe keep pushing broken updates...

Is there a way to identify what I updated from? Maybe some reference in the files I've produced?
