Rotate view in Illustrator rotates exactly the opposite way as in Photoshop

Has anyone noticed that to rotate the view clockwise you need NEGATIVE values in Illustrator and POSITIVE values in Photoshop?

 I hope that will be changed soon because it is very confusing.

Unfortunately, it matches the rotation directions in other rotation tools in Illustrator. I think there's a strong chance changing one or the other would cause even more trouble.

And it has been that way since the first Illustrator version.

If any app should change it must be Photoshop 🙂
