Using Mac Pro. Have created a vector logo. All good so far. Trying to add text to a round circle shape have got as far as selecting Warp option and typed my text but despite adjusting the scale etc it doesn't seem to look right as it isn't snapping to the circle. I have tried dragging the anchors but that makes it worse!!

Is this a scripting question? Or did you mean to post this in the Illustrator forum?

it's also a good idea to include screenshots so we can see what you're looking at and get a better idea of what's happening.

what about the other question i asked? are you trying to script this text? or are you asking about how to add text that follows the curve of the circle?

if it's the former, please post the code you're currently working with.

if it's the latter, you're in the wrong forum.. but since it's here already.. i'll go ahead and answer you and if the mods want to move this thread they can.

remove the 'warp > arc" from the text. that's not what you're looking for. draw a new circle inside the outermost circle and use the 'type on a path' tool (click and hold the type tool in your toolbox to pull up the menu and select type on a path). then type your text on the new circle you created. don't worry about the position of it.. we'll fix that in a second. in on the top of the circle, there's a hash mark. click and drag that to the bottom of the circle. you'll need to play around with the placement and the controls can be a little wonky. when you get it right.. just apply your desired font and increase the size until it looks correct. you can resize the circle/type path as well if you need to adjust that.
